Wake up, it's Christmas mourning

"Black lights hang from the tree, accents of dead holly."

 - Red Water (Christmas Mourning), Type O Negative

In shadow, Christmas comes.

Firstly, let me wish you a very Merry Christmas!

If you haven't yet got your mitts on my best-selling debut novel, The Shadow Fabric, you can grab the eBook version over on Amazon for only 99p / 99c! Available at this price until the New Year: smartURL.it/TheShadowFabric.

For me 2016 was full of conventions, book signing and meeting many old and new fans (you know who you are!) Alongside seeing my Sci-Fi paperback, Chaos Halo 1.0, hit the shelves, several anthologies featured my work of ghosts, black cats, crows, pirates, charity donations, and rusty machines. Having shared those pages with some fine authors, I've since signed a couple of exciting contracts for next year. So 2017 is going to be even bigger when it comes to my written word, that I can promise. I cannot wait for the Big Reveal of one of those projects!

And yes, the Shadow Fabric Mythos will continue to unravel.

As always, massive thanks for the support.

PS - If you're after a freebie read, then here's my Christmas horror story, "Another Pair."

Mark Cassell lives in a rural part of the UK with his wife and a number of animals. He often dreams of dystopian futures, peculiar creatures, and flitting shadows. Primarily a horror writer, his steampunk, dark fantasy, and SF stories have featured in numerous anthologies and ezines including Rayne Hall's Ten Tales series and horror zine, Sirens Call.
His best-selling debut novel, The Shadow Fabric, is closely followed by the popular short story collection, Sinister Stitches, and are both only a fraction of an expanding mythos. His most recent release, Chaos Halo 1.0: Alpha Beta Gamma Kill, is in association with Future Chronicles Photography.
