Sirens Call Publications - story accepted

The December 2013 edition of the Sirens Call eZine has been released! It's FREE and you can read it here. You'll find my story "Seeing is Believing" on page 45.

The only similarity between this work of fiction and a previous blog post of the same name is laser eye surgery. After writing this tale, I found no other suitable title and so had to go with my gut.

To warn you, this is the goriest tale I've written to date. The publishers wanted submissions about the author's own death. That's what I gave them...with a slight twist. On acceptance, one of the editors told me she got a kick out of the ending.

The end? My end? What I've written is not a way I'd wish to die. But, I have had laser eye surgery...
